HEAD NURSE PRACTITIONER

Nicole is from Northeastern Ohio. She attended Youngstown State University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She furthered her education with a Master’s of Science in Nursing as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and is certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Prior to completing her master’s degree, Nicole worked in various settings as a registered nurse including Sentara Heart Hospital, Sentara Norfolk General intensive care unit and Chesapeake Regional cardiac cauterization lab. Nicole moved to the Hampton Roads area in 2012 with her husband who is serving his country in the United States Navy. In her free time she enjoys working out, cooking, traveling and spending time with her husband and two children.

My name is Nawar Al-tuma. I graduated from Mutah medical school in Jordan in 2009 I went to James Madison University for my MSN and family nurse practitioner degree and graduated in 2022. I worked at Sentara RMH since 2015. I started working in the Emergency department as emergency provider in 2022.
